One of them might soon relocate to the White House, but where do these front-runner presidential candidates live now?
The most famous house in the country will be changing hands soon – and who will be the lucky occupant is still up for debate. That aside, let’s take a look at where each presidential candidate currently resides!
SENATOR TED CRUZ
The Senator from Texas lives with his wife, Heidi, and the couple’s two daughters in a luxury high rise condo in Houston, Texas real estate. The two bedroom, 2 ½ bath residence has just over two thousand square feet of living area and has an excellent view of the stunning city skyline. The move to Houston from West Virginia was a gradual one, which necessitated the couple commuting on weekends to spend time together for over 6 years.

SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS
The Senator from Vermont has two homes. The first is a four bedroom, 2 ½ bath Colonial in Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont. Sanders and his wife, Jane O’Meara, also own a townhouse in the District of Columbia; the Washington, DC real estate is a one bedroom, 1 ½ bath with a brick exterior, which was built in the late 1800s. Both are a considerable step up from Sander’s youth – the Senator grew up in a rent controlled apartment in Brooklyn, N.Y.

DONALD TRUMP
“The Donald” and his wife Melania also have two homes. The first is comprised of the top three floors of the Trump Tower in NYC, which is lavishly decorated in King Louis XIV style with 24 karat gold and marble accents. The apartments feature painted ceilings, imposing columns, ornate furnishings and crystal chandeliers. The Trump’s second home is a residential quarters in his Florida based Mar-A-Lago Club, a vast Palm Beach property with 58 bedrooms, 33 baths, and 3 bomb shelters. The business and media mogul grew up in Queens in the uptown area of Midway Parkway.

HILLARY CLINTON
The former Secretary of State, Senator, and First Lady similarly has two residences; the Clintons own a five bedroom, 4 bath Dutch colonial home in Chappaqua, Westchester County, New York that dates back to the late 1800s, as well as a four bedroom, 6 2/2 bath brick exterior house in Washington, D.C. that was built in the ‘50s. The Clintons have lived in a variety of homes, from their Tudor style home in Fayetteville, Arkansas where they were married, to the Governor’s mansion, to the White House.
