Professional principles

A real estate transaction doesn’t come easy. We’ll encounter a fair share of ups and downs down the path. Still, my clients should keep one crucial thing in mind!

What drives me

I have always been fascinated with retail sales and management, which ultimately drove me to choose this career. Thus, I decided to become a real estate agent. I obtained my license in 2012. At this time, I started to buy houses to flip or rent them out.  

Even my former clients can tell that Real Estate means more to me than a simple full-time job. It’s my true passion!! One of the very best feelings in this business is watching my clients' faces when I tell them that the seller has accepted their offer. Closing day is another essential source of my delights. I can’t put my feelings in words when I see my clients take over the keys to their new homes for the first time. IT IS PRICELESS!! 

My goal in this career is to help families find their own homes. Thus, I can assist in making the American Dream come true for them.

Achievements

I received the Orlando Gold Key Certification as a top agent for selling units.

I founded Marcillo Real Estate in 2016, and I managed to bring together an excellent team of 12 agents.

Additionally, I established a cigar company called Tropical Cigars.

Personal information

I am originally from Colombia. I came to the US when I was 17 years old. Then, I started to work as a dishwasher, making $4.75 an hour. In three years, I got my American citizenship. I remember this period fondly because it reminds me of the thorny path I had to take first to thrive later. 

I am incredibly fortunate because I have been married to my best friend for the past 16 years. I am the proud father of four kids (two of them are twins), and I also own a lovely English bulldog. My family and I lived in Orlando but moved to Ocala, Fl, in 2021.

Hobbies

As I previously mentioned, real estate is also my hobby. I like house-flipping in my spare time, meaning I buy homes, give them a proper facelift, and sell them later.

 

Lastly, I am a sports enthusiast. I eagerly support the best professional American football team ever, the Miami Dolphins! GO DOLPHINS!!
