I’m J R Smith with Re/max Palm Realty and I am excited to give you a glimpse  into my journey as a Real Estate Agent. With a background as a former Spouse  of an Air Force Squadron Commander, I was able to help military families find  suitable housing. Working alongside these families was a gratifying experience that I have carried into retirement. I knew that a career in Real Estate was in my  future. I have been a Real Estate Agent for the past seven years and enjoy every  minute that I am helping a customer fulfill their dream of home ownership. 

I aim to ensure that every task I take on is completed. My commitment to being  respectful and truthful in all real estate situations is my approach to success. It is  important to guide customers through the intricacies of a real estate transaction. My full attention is to ensure everything is executed properly. 

Balancing life beyond Real Estate is easy for me. When I’m not working with  customers, I like to enjoy horseback riding, walking, and occasionally a round of  golf to relax. Most of all I enjoy spending my extra time with my family.  

I grew up on a farm and have always loved having animals around. I have many  puppies up and down the street and enjoy their pit stops for treats. I am a  volunteer serving on the Homeowners Association Board in my community. This  gives me insight into the needs of the residents and helps me understand the  importance of getting involved with the neighborhood. 

My primary focus as a Real Estate Agent center around helping customers find  their dream homes. Whether it’s a first-time buyer taking their initial steps into  homeownership or a family relocating or retiring to the area, their needs are my  compass. I enjoy bringing their visions to life. 

My commitment to professionalism and communication sets me apart from  other realtors. I strongly believe in understanding the markets my customers are  interested in, saving them time while demonstrating that their desires are my  priority. Honesty and respect are fundamental, and trust-building with  customers paves the way for future referrals. Always being available to answer  and practicing patience is my way of ensuring a smooth journey.

Collaborating with fellow Real Estate Agents and Home Builders in the area has  been a learning experience. I have maintained strong relationships with many of  my past clients.  

I believe that customers should also understand the credentials I carry, so I can  best serve them with their home search. Designations like ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), PSA (Professional Specialized in Real Estate Purchase  and Sale Agreements), RSPS (Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist).
