I began my career in Lincoln, Nebraska (where I was raised) in 1991 to assist my parents with their new construction business (they've been Realtors since the 1970's -- my Grandfather and Great-Grandfather were also real estate professionals in Colorado). I learned more about the process of building houses, evaluating and selecting land then most agents will ever learn and I spent many, many hours holding open houses in empty homes under construction than I'd care to think about! It was a great learning experience. Back then, there wasn't an internet and the contract was one page, legal size, and no such thing as Buyers Agency existed! Ahhh, the good old days!

Today, after over a decade of real estate experience in the Charlotte, NC market, my career focuses on first time homebuyers (I purchased my first home at age 26 so I understand how to be patient and explain details of a transaction in simple terms), relocation clients (I enjoy showing off my new city and give great tours to my customers who are moving to Charlotte), new construction homes and land/lots (helping customers visualize their home from a drawing and raw piece of land is a skill that other agents do not possess). I am a Buyers Agent as well as a Sellers Agent -- I enjoy the task of marketing a home and advertising it with a creative twist (I have an art background, so my marketing approach usually has a little flair to it), but I also like representing buyers and assisting them with the task of finding that perfect home and then negotiating the best deal for them.

I have lived in 3 areas of Charlotte -- Plaza-Midwood from 1995 to 2003, Huntersville/LKN from 2003 to 2011 and Southpark/Ballantyne from 2011 to today. I have sold many homes in Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, and Cabarrus Counties as well as the Tega Cay/Fort Mill areas -- I do hold a SC Brokers License. I'm getting more familiar with Union County -- where the schools are ranked very high and there are terrific family neighborhoods and Uptown which has become the trendiest place for young executives to live. So, I will help you find a home in any part of the Charlotte Metro Region!
