This cat is like the Monalisa version of cats. You can't tell if it's very scared of the spider or if it's just casually observing it.
And that's the beauty of it. If it was scared, we would pay no mind to the image; being terrified to death, getting on top of the chair (or running around yelling and crying) is the normal reaction when seeing a spider in your home. Right? It's not just me, correct? And if the cat was relaxingly looking at the spider, it would be just too surreal and not believable to such an extent, that no one would bother to appreciate it.
But because it's inconclusive, the Cat-alisa (got it?) is truly a work of art we invite everyone to enjoy and share with other art consumers.
