I couldn't have been more pleased working with Tim and I have already referred him on to many co-workers and friends. When I first started working with Tim, I was new to homeownership. He helped me through the process and educated me on so many aspects, and was very patient with my stupid questions. He was able to find with amazing accuracy, exactly the house we were looking for, and also helped us to determine what that looked like for us. He asks and records every like and dislike, want and need, and is able to use that information to find properties that are precisely what you are looking for. He is also a very respectful, down to earth, and very likable guy. No fake cheese or sleaze here! This was something we were very happy about and hopeful we wouldn't encounter in an agent and Tim was everything but that. In the end he has felt like family and we will continue to use him in our future endeavors. I can't recommend him enough!

There is no question about Tim's ability to work this market, from buying to selling. My wife and I where blessed to have Tim for both the selling of our home and the purchase of our forever home. Tim's knowledge backed from years on both sides of a transaction made us feel so secure, we never felt out of the loop on anything. We hired Tim to sell our home in SW Portland because Tim had vast knowledge of our specific market. We knew we had a special view home and wanted to find an agent who understood the unique aspects of our home. Tim was the right Broker for our property! Tim expertly marketed our home to attract the most buyers. He provided us with comparable listing throughout the Portland area. We were able to close on our home within 45 days of listing at a price on the higher end of the market!In addition, we had already moved out of the State when we listed the home for sale. Tim expertly handled the management and maintenance of our vacant home. Tim coordinated work that needed to be done to the home, meet contractors, provided bids for our review and made sure the home was in top condition and ready to be shown!We are thrilled to have found Tim and would highly recommend his services!

Tim is, without a doubt, the only reason we were able to purchase our new home. My wife and I had been trying to purchase a house for about a year with no luck. We had other realtors who were very cordial and seemed sincere in their efforts, but due to the very aggressive market in Portland, were unable to help us in getting an accepted offer. If you put a bid in on the first day, you are still going to have multiple other offers to contend with so you have to move fast and come in strong. Tim was amazingly committed to getting us into our first home, and would show us a house at a moments notice so that we could get in an offer right away. He helped us weigh the pros and cons of each house and determine what was qualities of a home were the most important and focused our search based on that criteria. Throughout the whole process, he stayed in constant contact and updated us to any changes or roadbumps, while always having a plan to move past them. In the end, we were able to purchase our first home that is even better than we had hoped. I would (and have) highly recommended Tim to anyone I know that is buying or selling a home.

I was looking for a house for about a year using an agent my boss referred to me. I couldn't get one bought in the Portland area, it's a tough market to buy a house in! I stopped looking for a couple years then decided to give it a go again. I contacted Key bank to get pre approved and asked if they knew any really good realtors, they referred me to Tim Bolen. Tim has a background in loans and REO properties, there's not much this guy doesn't know. He found me a house that was listed as cash only, then convinced the listing agent to take a rehab loan offer, he then contacted my bank to show them how to make this loan happen. We closed on the house and I feel confident I have 100k in equity from the purchase. I have since referred him 2 other people I know that had been house shopping with a different agent but not getting one bought. They both fired their realtors and used Tim. They are both now home owners! Anyone can show you a property but to find a realtor knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate and lending is a huge bonus.
